Using this cell

Fill the cell so the liquid fully covers the beam area in your instrument, then fit the closure before moving or measuring the sample if your procedure benefits from covered handling. Keep the optical faces clean, remove visible bubbles, and use the same orientation for blank and sample measurements.

The 175 µL figure is the nominal capacity, not a minimum working volume. If your method uses low fill levels, check the actual liquid coverage against the beam position in your own holder.
