Using this cell

Fill the cell so the liquid fully covers the instrument beam during measurement. Because this is an open-top cuvette, load the sample carefully to avoid splashing onto the outer optical faces, and remove visible bubbles before reading.

For routine work, keep the same orientation for blank and sample runs. Handle the cell by the non-optical outer surfaces and keep the clear faces clean and dry before placing it in the instrument.

First-use check

Before first use, inspect the rim and optical faces for shipping marks, dust or residue. Test the fit in your holder first, then rinse, fill and confirm that the beam passes through the intended sample region without clipping.

Fit and optical alignment

This cell has a body size of 29.4 × 20 × 40 mm. Check that your holder accepts this rectangular footprint and height, especially if your setup is designed around a different body size.

Z Height is not established for this SKU, so instrument fit should not be assumed from the body size alone where beam height is critical. The nominal volume is 15 mL, not a minimum working volume.
