Using this cell

Fill the cell from the top and make sure the liquid level fully covers the beam path used by your instrument. For repeatable work, keep the same orientation for blank and sample measurements and remove bubbles or droplets from the optical faces before reading.

Because this is a large-capacity open chamber, handle it as a full-size cell body rather than as a small cuvette insert. Hold the cuvette by non-optical surfaces where possible, and allow enough bench and holder clearance for careful pouring, draining and cleaning between runs.

First-use check

Before first use, inspect the optical faces for chips, residue or handling marks and confirm that the cell seats level in your holder. Run a suitable blank first and verify that the filled sample covers the beam area used in your instrument.

Fit and optical alignment
