Original price was: $143.00.$129.00Current price is: $129.00.
C102SE4 is a quartz Micro Cuvette for UV/Vis spectroscopy with a 10 mm optical path, Two-Way Light layout and 700 µL nominal capacity. This stopper version has a 2 mm sample-region width for a narrow covered measurement zone. Sold per 1 cuvette with stopper included.
Description
C102SE4 is a quartz Micro Cuvette for UV/Vis work that combines a 10 mm optical path with a 700 µL nominal capacity and a supplied stopper. Its 2 mm sample-region width gives a narrow defined liquid region, and the stopper-style closure makes this the covered version to choose when your handling routine calls for a closed top rather than an open cell.

Choose this option
Choose C102SE4 when you need a compact 10 mm transmission cell with a stopper and a narrower sample region. The 700 µL nominal capacity suits small-volume work in this family, while the 2 mm sample-region width is useful when you want a more tightly defined measurement zone and can verify beam coverage in your own instrument.
What makes this option different
- Stopper included for a covered-top micro-cuvette configuration.
- 2 mm sample-region width for a narrower reading zone than the wider slit versions.
- 700 µL nominal capacity for smaller-volume measurements in a 10 mm path format.
- Two-Way Light, 10 mm path for UV/Vis transmission through the main opposing windows.
Using this cell
Fill the cuvette carefully so the liquid fully covers the measurement region, then seat the stopper gently. Keep bubbles, droplets and residue away from the optical faces, and use the same orientation for blank and sample runs.
The 700 µL figure is the nominal capacity of the cell, not a minimum working volume. If you work below full fill or use a fixed beam position, check that the liquid level still covers the active region under your actual measurement conditions.
First-use check
- Inspect the optical faces and closure seating area for dust or damage.
- Place the cell in the holder and confirm stable seating without force.
- Run a blank and check that the beam passes through a fully covered, bubble-free liquid region.
- Insert and remove the stopper gently to confirm clean handling in your workflow.
Fit and optical alignment
External body dimensions are not established here, so holder fit should be checked carefully if your instrument uses a dedicated micro-cell adapter or has limited compartment clearance. Because this version includes a stopper, allow for top clearance as well as body seating.
Z Height is also not established for this SKU. If your spectrometer depends on a defined beam-center height, confirm alignment in the actual holder before routine use.
Solvents and cleaning
This option is presented for volatile-solution use, but the exact chemical limits of the complete cell and stopper assembly are not established here. If your method involves organic solvents, strong acids, strong bases, unusual cleaning liquids or long contact times, check suitability before use.
Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning, and clean the optical faces gently with a non-abrasive laboratory tissue or another suitable non-scratching wipe.
Included with this option
1 cuvette per listed price unit. Closure included.
Availability and ordering

For a required delivery date, contact us before checkout; preparation or production is separate from carrier transit and customs clearance.
Discuss a custom version
We coordinate custom JGS1 quartz production for requirements involving dimensions, optical path length, sample volume, optical windows or Z Height, closures and connections, fabrication and tolerances. Send a dimensioned drawing or labelled sketch and identify the dimensions and tolerances that are critical to your application. Prototype batches typically involve 2–4 cells; the final quantity, feasibility, specifications, price and production time are confirmed in the project quotation. Modified designs and prototype batches are quoted separately from the listed SKU. Discuss your requirements and quote part number C102SE4.
