Choose this option
Choose C102CS18 when your method is limited to visible absorbance and you want a micro cuvette that keeps the common 10 mm path in a smaller-format cell. The combination of a Two-Way Light layout, compact sample region and single-cuvette sale unit suits routine replacement, an additional cell for visible-range work, or a setup that does not require a larger purchase quantity.
What makes this option different
- Glass body for visible absorbance spectroscopy; this is not a UV cuvette.
- 10 mm optical path in a Micro Cuvette format.
- 1.4 mL nominal capacity with a 4 mm sample region in a Two-Way Light layout.
- PTFE lid included; sold as 1 cuvette per listed price unit.
- Standard 80 adhesive-bonded construction with solvent restrictions.
Using this cell
Fill the cuvette from the top so the illuminated region is fully covered during measurement. The 1.4 mL figure is the nominal capacity of the cell, not a minimum working volume, so your actual fill level should follow your beam position and measurement setup.
Use the same orientation for blank and sample readings, and check for bubbles, residue and exterior droplets before placing the cell in the holder. The PTFE lid covers the opening during handling, but this product is not presented as a pressure-rated assembly.
First-use check
Inspect the optical faces and sample region before use, then run a suitable blank in your holder to confirm clean beam passage. After filling, make sure the illuminated region is fully covered and free from bubbles.
Fit and optical alignment
Path length alone does not establish holder fit or beam height. External body dimensions and Z Height are not stated for this option, so do not rely on assumed geometry if your instrument has a fixed beam position or limited compartment clearance.
This matters most with dedicated micro-cuvette holders and instruments that need a defined beam-center height. If those points are critical in your setup, please review them before ordering.
Solvents and cleaning
This cuvette uses Standard 80 adhesive-bonded construction. For this version, the cleaning and sample chemistry limits are an important part of selection.
Do not soak or rinse with ethanol. Do not use with acids, alkalis or organic solvents. Clean promptly with a suitable non-organic rinse for your method, and dry the exterior optical faces gently with non-abrasive tissue.
Included with this option
1 glass micro cuvette with PTFE lid. The listed price is for one cuvette.
Availability and ordering
Order this specification directly, or contact us to check current availability and dispatch timing. If temporarily unavailable, additional preparation or production time may be needed. For a required delivery date, contact us before checkout; preparation or production is separate from carrier transit and customs clearance.
Discuss a custom version
If you need a different body format, path length, capacity, optical window arrangement or a defined Z Height, please send your holder details or drawing through the contact page. Custom JGS1 quartz projects are reviewed separately from this listed glass SKU.
