Structure and dimensions
Using this cell
Support the cell by the quartz body during handling and installation. Do not lift or position it by the projecting tube alone. When filling or rinsing from the open top, add liquid slowly so the optical region wets evenly and visible bubbles can clear before measurement.
If the cell is used as part of a connected liquid path, set the operating direction and plumbing arrangement for the complete assembly. The single bottom tube identifies the connection location, but pressure limits are not specified for this item.
First-use check
- Inspect the optical faces, chamber and tube area for chips, residue or handling marks.
- Place the cell in the holder and verify that the beam passes through the intended optical faces.
- Fill, remove visible bubbles and exterior droplets, then run a blank before sample measurement.

Solvents and cleaning
Rinse promptly after use and clean the optical faces gently with non-abrasive optical tissue or another non-scratching method suitable for quartz. Choose the cleaning liquid for the full wetted setup, not the quartz body alone.
Keep hydrofluoric acid away from quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaners. If your method involves aggressive chemicals, long contact time or elevated temperature, check suitability for the complete assembly before use.
