Choose this option

Choose C102SR26 when your method is built around a 10 mm path and you want a covered sample chamber instead of an open-top cell. The stopper format is useful when you need straightforward filling from above, then a simple fitted closure for routine handling and placement in the holder. Its 3.5 mL nominal capacity places it in a full-size cuvette scale rather than a micro-volume format.

What makes this option different

  • 10 mm optical path suits methods based on a 1 cm transmission path.
  • Two-Way Light layout supports beam passage through two opposite optical faces.
  • PTFE stopper provides covered top access after sample loading.
  • 3.5 mL nominal capacity fits routine liquid sampling in a full-size cell body.
  • Pack of 2 cuvettes keeps the MQ sale quantity aligned with the listed price unit.

Using this cell

Fill the cell from the top and make sure the liquid level covers the illuminated region during measurement. After filling, insert the stopper gently and keep the same cell orientation for blank and sample work when your method depends on consistent positioning.

Handle the cuvette by the non-optical sides, and keep the optical faces free from fingerprints, residue and droplets. Remove visible bubbles before measurement, especially if they sit in the beam path.

First-use check

  1. Inspect both cuvettes for chips, residue or visible marks on the optical faces.
  2. Place each empty cell in the holder to confirm seating without force.
  3. Fill with a suitable blank and verify that the beam region is covered.
  4. Insert the stoppers gently and check that the cells remain stable in your setup.

Fit and optical alignment

The uncapped cell body is 12.5 × 12.5 × 45 mm. Use that body size to check holder seating and general instrument clearance for a square cuvette format.

The stated height applies to the body without the stopper. Leave space above the holder for insertion and removal of the closure. Z Height is not specified for this SKU, so if your instrument depends on a defined beam-center height, check that point separately rather than relying on the outer body shape alone.

Solvents and cleaning

The exact chemical limits of this assembled quartz-and-PTFE stoppered option are not specified here. If your method involves aggressive solvents, long contact times, elevated temperature or demanding cleaning steps, check suitability for the complete assembly before use.

Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning methods. For fabrication background, see MQ Cuvette Fabrication Glossary.

Included with this option

2 cuvettes per listed price unit. Closure included.
