(C104CS58) Quartz Ultra-Micro Cuvette, 10 mm Path, 100 µL
Original price was: $223.00.$201.00Current price is: $201.00.
C104CS58 is a JGS1 quartz Ultra-Micro Cuvette with a 10 mm optical path, 100 µL nominal capacity and Four-Way Light access. Its open-top format gives direct filling, while the four-side optical layout suits setups that need more than one optical direction around the sample region. Supplied as 1 cuvette per sale unit.
Description
C104CS58 is an ultra-micro quartz cuvette for small-volume work with a standard 10 mm optical path and four-side optical access around the sample region. The open top lets you fill and inspect the cell directly, while the Four-Way Light layout makes this option relevant when your measurement geometry uses more than one optical direction.
This version has a 100 µL nominal capacity and a JGS1 quartz body specified for 200–2500 nm use. It is a useful selection when you want a compact cell with standard path length and side optical access, but do not want to move to a flow-cell or closed-cap arrangement.

Choose this option
Choose C104CS58 when your method needs a 10 mm path length together with four-side optical access in a small-volume open-top cell. It suits direct top loading and measurement arrangements that need access through more than one side of the cuvette body, including compatible fluorescence-style geometries.
What makes this option different
- 10 mm optical path in an ultra-micro body for methods that keep the standard transmission length.
- Four-Way Light layout for optical access from multiple sides around the sample region.
- 100 µL nominal capacity for small-volume handling without tubing connections.
- Open-top design for direct pipetting, inspection and rinsing from above.
- 12.5 × 12.5 × 45 mm body for checking holder clearance with the bare cell body.
Using this cell
Fill the cuvette carefully from the top and make sure the illuminated sample region is fully covered before measurement. In a small-volume cell, bubbles, droplets on the optical faces and uneven filling are easier to notice in use, so it helps to load slowly and inspect the sample before placing the cuvette in the holder.
Use the same orientation for blank and sample runs, especially if your setup uses more than one optical direction around the cell. Keep all relevant optical faces clean and free from fingerprints or dried residue.
First-use check
- Inspect the optical faces for dust, marks or shipping residue.
- Rinse with a suitable liquid for your method.
- Run a blank and confirm that the filled sample covers the measurement region in your setup.
- Check repeatable seating and orientation in the holder before routine measurements.
Fit and optical alignment
The body dimensions are 12.5 × 12.5 × 45 mm for the cuvette body only. These dimensions help when you need to check holder slot size and surrounding clearance with the bare cell body rather than with an assumed cap or full assembly envelope.
Z Height is not established for this model, so beam-center fit should be checked from your holder and instrument geometry rather than assumed from the 45 mm body height. Four-Way Light describes the supported optical access category, but your instrument still needs beam positions that match the actual sample region and holder layout.
Solvents and cleaning
This cuvette is described with a supplier HELLMA process construction term, but that label does not by itself establish a full solvent-compatibility range for this exact SKU. If your method involves demanding sample chemistries or cleaning routines, review the current fabrication guidance here: Compare fabrication options.
Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning, and wipe the optical faces gently with non-abrasive optical tissue. If your sample or cleaning solvent is aggressive, check suitability for the full wetted assembly before use.
Included with this option
Supplied as 1 cuvette per sale unit.
Availability and ordering
Order this specification directly, or contact us to check current availability and dispatch timing. If temporarily unavailable, additional preparation or production time may be needed. For a required delivery date, contact us before checkout; preparation or production is separate from carrier transit and customs clearance.
Discuss a custom version
We coordinate custom JGS1 quartz production for changes to dimensions, optical path length, sample volume, optical windows or Z Height, closures and fabrication requirements. Send a dimensioned drawing or labelled sketch together with your holder details, beam geometry, sample conditions and target quantity. Prototype batches typically involve 2–4 cells; final specifications, price and production time are confirmed for the project. Discuss your requirements and quote part number C104CS58.
