(C104WS) Quartz Flow Cell, 10 mm Path, 3.5 mL
Original price was: $475.00.$428.00Current price is: $428.00.
C104WS is a quartz flow cell with a 10 mm optical path, 3.5 mL nominal capacity and Four-Way Light geometry for UV/Vis spectroscopy over 200–2500 nm. This version uses two opposed built-in fluid tubes with 4 mm outer diameter and 2 mm inner diameter, which helps you plan tubing and optical access together. Supplied as the selected C104WS flow cell specification; package contents are not further specified here.
Description
C104WS is a quartz flow cell for UV/Vis setups that use a 10 mm optical path and need line-connected sample handling rather than open-top filling. Its Four-Way Light layout, 3.5 mL nominal capacity and two opposed built-in tubes make it easier to plan the optical path, tubing route and support space as one assembly.
This version is useful when you want fixed quartz tube connections at both ends of the cell body. The stated tube sizes, 4 mm OD and 2 mm ID, give you a practical starting point for external connection planning without assuming inlet and outlet roles.

Choose this option
Choose C104WS when your method needs a 10 mm flow cell with optical access from more than one side and a straight opposed-tube connection layout. It suits UV/Vis installations where the cell stays in place while sample lines are routed to both ends, and where the cell volume and tubing clearance both matter to the setup.
What makes this option different
- 10 mm optical path in a flow-cell format for methods built around that path length.
- Four-Way Light configuration adds side optical access beyond a simple two-face transmission layout.
- Two opposed built-in fluid tubes give a fixed end-to-end connection format instead of threaded fittings or open top holes.
- 4 mm OD / 2 mm ID tube dimensions help with tubing and support planning around the cell.
Using this cell
Install the cell so the optical faces sit cleanly in the beam path and the two built-in tubes are connected without side load on the quartz body. Fill gradually and inspect the sample region before measurement so bubbles or residual film do not remain in the light path.
The nominal capacity is 3.5 mL for the cell itself. If your method depends on flushing or exchange timing, remember that the connected tubing adds liquid beyond the cell volume alone.
First-use check
- Inspect the quartz body and both tube ends for chips, cracks or transport residue.
- Confirm that your external tubing matches the stated 4 mm OD / 2 mm ID connection geometry.
- Run a suitable blank and check for stable filling, visible bubbles and leakage at the external connection points.
Fit and optical alignment
The body height is 45 mm and the base is 12.5 × 12.5 mm. The stated internal dimensions are 10 × 10 × 33 mm, which helps when you are checking holder space and the size of the illuminated sample region.
Allow extra room outside the body for the projecting tube connections and tubing bend radius. Z Height needs to be confirmed for this option, so beam-height-sensitive holders or instruments should be checked directly rather than inferred from the path length or body size.
Solvents and cleaning
Molded 83 is commonly chosen for methods that may involve organic solvents or temperature-controlled use. As with any flow assembly, suitability depends on the complete wetted path, including any added tubing and fittings.
Chemical limits and pressure limits are not specified here for this exact option. Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning, and wipe the optical faces gently with non-abrasive optical tissue.
Included with this option
The listed price is for one C104WS flow cell.
Additional accessory contents should be confirmed for your order.
Availability and ordering
Order this specification directly, or contact us to check current availability and dispatch timing. If temporarily unavailable, additional preparation or production time may be needed. For a required delivery date, contact us before checkout; preparation or production is separate from carrier transit and customs clearance.
Discuss a custom version
We coordinate custom JGS1 quartz flow cells for changes involving dimensions, optical path length, sample volume, optical windows or Z Height, closures, connections and tolerances. Send a dimensioned drawing or labelled sketch and identify the dimensions and connection details that matter in your setup.
Prototype batches typically involve 2–4 cells; feasibility, final specifications, quantity, price and production time are confirmed in the project quotation. To discuss a modified version of C104WS, please use this contact page.
