Using this cell

Fill each cuvette so the illuminated sample region is covered, and keep the optical faces clean and free from residue, droplets and bubbles. When using one cell for blank and one for sample, keep the seating orientation consistent so the optical path is reproduced as closely as your setup allows.

The 1.75 mL figure is the nominal capacity of each cell body. It is not a minimum working volume, so methods run at lower fill levels should be checked against the actual beam position in the holder or spectrometer.

First-use check

Inspect both cuvettes and both lids for dust or transport residue.
Test the empty body fit in the holder before filling.
Run a blank at the intended wavelength range and seating direction.
Check that the liquid level covers the beam path without trapped bubbles.
