Using this cell

Fill the cuvette through the threaded opening, then seat the cap gently before measurement. Use enough sample to cover the beam path used by your instrument, and clear any bubbles from the optical region before running a blank or sample.

Keep the same orientation for repeat measurements when your method depends on consistent positioning. Handle the cell by the non-optical surfaces where possible to reduce fingerprints on the optical faces. The stated 3.5 mL is nominal capacity, not a minimum working volume.

Inspect the optical faces, base and threaded opening for dust, chips or visible residue.
Rinse with a cleaning liquid suitable for your method and the full assembled cell.
