Description
The C105CS is a quartz (fused silica) standard cuvette with 10 mm path length and five-way light optical windows (all four sides plus the bottom are optically polished), designed for UV-Vis and NIR spectrophotometry across 190–2500 nm. The five-way configuration provides unique optical access from every direction including the bottom — enabling upward excitation, Raman spectroscopy with bottom illumination, and multi-angle scattering experiments that are impossible with standard two- or four-way cuvettes. Fabricated using Sintered 80 — a sintering process at 600 °C that fuses quartz components without adhesive — delivering >80% transmittance with good chemical resistance. A cost-effective choice for routine laboratory work where premium transmittance is not required. Includes a ptfe cap for chemical-resistant sealing. Supplied as a pack of two for cost-effective parallel or comparative experiments.
