C104TF1 is a quartz screw-top cuvette for methods that use a 10 mm optical path in a covered cell format. This option combines a JGS1 quartz body, Four-Way Light configuration and 3.5 mL nominal capacity with a threaded neck and PTFE screw cap, so you can fill from the top and handle the cell with the sample enclosed. Using this cell

Fill the sample through the threaded neck, then fit the screw cap before moving the cuvette into the holder. Keep the optical faces clean and free from droplets, fingerprints and bubbles in the beam area.

For repeat measurements, keep the same orientation for blank and sample runs. The 3.5 mL figure is the nominal cell capacity, not a minimum working volume, so the actual fill level should match your instrument beam position and method.

First-use check

Inspect the optical faces for dust, marks or shipping residue.
Rinse with a cleaning liquid suitable for your method and the full assembled cell.
Run a blank and confirm that the filled sample covers the beam area in your setup.
Check that the cap seats cleanly and that the cuvette clears the holder space available above the neck.

Fit and optical alignment

The base footprint is 12.5 × 12.5 mm, with a 35 mm body section and 55 mm uncapped overall height to the top of the neck. These figures are useful when checking holder fit and vertical clearance around the neck before ordering.

Solvents and cleaning
