Quartz 30mm, Two-Way Light, Micro Flow Cuvette, 96 ul, Standard 80, C302WS1
Description
The C302WS1 is a quartz micro-volume flow cuvette with 30 mm path length and two-way light windows (two polished optical faces for standard UV-Vis absorbance geometry), holding 96 ul of sample. The cell measures 12.5 × 32.5 × 35 mm externally with an internal chamber of 10 × 30 × 32 mm. Inlet and outlet ports enable continuous sample flow for real-time monitoring applications. Fabricated using Standard 80 technique with precision-glued quartz construction, delivering >80% transmittance across the 190-2500 nm range. The quartz body is suitable for aqueous (water-based) solutions only. Do not use with organic solvents, strong acids, or strong bases. The Z dimension (beam center height) is 8.5 mm from the cell bottom — verify compatibility with your instrument’s beam height before ordering.

Applications
Why Two-Way Light Windows?
The two-way configuration provides two optically polished opposing faces for standard transmission-mode spectroscopy (UV-Vis, NIR). The remaining two walls are frosted (ground) to suppress internal reflections and stray light, improving baseline stability and measurement reproducibility. This is the most common geometry for absorbance-based flow analysis — compatible with virtually every single-beam and double-beam spectrophotometer on the market.
Why a Flow Cell?
Flow cells enable continuous, real-time spectroscopic monitoring without manual sample handling. Micro-volume flow cells minimize sample consumption while maintaining full optical-path performance. The reduced chamber volume allows faster sample turnover, sharper concentration transitions, and lower dead volume — critical for precious samples, micro-flow injection analysis, and coupling with micro-bore chromatography systems.
Why Standard 80 Fabrication?
The Standard 80 fabrication creates a monolithic fused-quartz cell from a single block — no adhesive joints, no bonding layers. This delivers >80% transmittance and complete resistance to all common laboratory solvents, concentrated acids, and bases (avoid HF). The seamless construction eliminates leakage risks and withstands repeated thermal cycling, making Standard 80 the premium choice for demanding flow applications.
