Using this cell

Fill the chamber from the open top and make sure the liquid fully covers the beam during measurement. Remove bubbles from the optical region, keep the optical faces clean and use the same orientation for blank and sample when your method depends on repeatable placement.

The stated 76.8 mL is the nominal chamber volume, not a minimum working volume. If you intend to work below the nominal fill level, verify that the sample still covers the beam in your instrument.

First-use check

Inspect the optical faces before first use, rinse with a cleaning liquid suitable for your method, and run a blank at the working wavelength. Confirm that the sample region is bubble-free and that the beam passes through liquid-covered optical faces.

Fit and optical alignment

The listed outer dimensions of 44 × 44 × 62 mm apply to the uncapped cell body. Check these against your holder opening, compartment space and handling clearance before ordering, especially if your instrument accepts only a narrow cuvette format.
