The open-top rectangular body makes filling and rinsing straightforward, and the included PTFE lid lets you cover the cell during normal bench handling. Using this cell

Fill each cuvette from the top and make sure the liquid level covers the measurement region used by your instrument. Remove visible bubbles before reading, and keep the same orientation each time when comparing blanks, standards and samples.

Handle the cells by the non-optical outer surfaces where possible. The nominal capacity is 1.75 mL per cuvette, but it is not a stated minimum working volume, so the actual fill needed depends on your beam position and method.

Inspect the optical faces for dust, residue or handling marks.
