(C104CR2) Quartz Fluorescence Cuvette, 10 mm Path, 3.5 mL
Original price was: $124.00.$112.00Current price is: $112.00.
C104CR2 is a JGS1 quartz fluorescence cuvette with a 10 mm optical path, Four-Way Light access and 3.5 mL nominal capacity. It suits fluorescence setups that use optical access from more than one side, and a closure is included. Supplied as 2 cuvettes per listed price unit.
Description
C104CR2 is a JGS1 quartz fluorescence cuvette with a standard 10 mm optical path and Four-Way Light access around the sample region. Its 3.5 mL nominal capacity keeps it in a familiar full-size format for routine liquid handling, while the included closure helps cover the cell during normal use. This option is supplied as 2 cuvettes per listed price unit.

Choose this option
Choose C104CR2 when your fluorescence method uses a standard 10 mm cuvette but also needs side optical access around the sample. The four-way layout is useful for measurement geometries that involve more than one optical direction, while the full-size body avoids moving to a reduced-volume cell format.
What makes this option different
- Four-Way Light configuration for optical access on four sides of the sample region.
- 10 mm optical path in a full-size 3.5 mL nominal-capacity cuvette.
- JGS1 quartz body for fluorescence spectroscopy over the stated 200–2500 nm range.
- Closure included, with outside dimensions stated for the uncapped cell body.
Using this cell
Fill the cuvette so the beam passes through a stable liquid column without bubbles in the optical region. Align the faces to the excitation and collection directions used by your method, and keep the same orientation for blank and sample measurements.
Handle the cell by the upper area where possible and keep the optical faces free from fingerprints, droplets and residue. The included closure covers the cell during routine handling, but no pressure or leak-tightness rating is stated for this SKU.
First-use check
Inspect the windows on arrival, rinse the cell with a suitable liquid for your method, and place it empty or blank-filled in the holder to confirm seating and clearance. Before measurement, make sure the beam path is free from bubbles, particles and visible surface residue.
Fit and optical alignment
The stated outside dimensions, 12.5 × 12.5 × 45 mm, apply to the uncapped cell body. Use them to check holder seating and sample-compartment clearance, then allow extra top space for the closure in place.
Z Height is not provided for this item. If your fluorescence holder or instrument depends on a specific beam-center height, verify that point before ordering rather than inferring it from the outside dimensions.
Solvents and cleaning
This quartz cuvette is specified for fluorescence spectroscopy over 200–2500 nm, but the chemical limits for the exact finished assembly are not listed here. If your samples or cleaning routine involve aggressive solvents, high temperature or long contact time, review the full cell suitability for those conditions before regular use.
Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning. After use, rinse promptly and wipe the outer optical faces gently with non-abrasive optical tissue.
Compare fabrication options if you are reviewing different constructions for sample chemistry and cleaning method.
Included with this option
2 cuvettes per listed price unit. Closure included.
