Using this cell

Fill the sample chamber from the open top and make sure the liquid covers the beam region used by your method. Check for bubbles before measurement, especially with this short path, and keep the cell orientation consistent if your procedure depends on repeatable positioning.

Because this version is supplied without a closure, use it where an open sample chamber is acceptable during filling and reading. Handle the cuvette by the non-optical surfaces and keep the outside optical faces clean and dry.

First-use check

Confirm that the open-top, no-closure configuration matches your intended setup.
Test-fit the empty cuvette in your holder and check that it seats securely.
Rinse with a suitable neutral liquid for your method and inspect for bubbles before the first measurement.

Fit and optical alignment

Z Height is not established for this SKU. If your instrument uses a fixed beam height or has strict alignment requirements for short-path cells, verify that beam position separately rather than relying on the outer dimensions alone.

Solvents and cleaning

This option is specified for neutral solutions. If your sample or cleaning routine falls outside that range, check the exact liquid, concentration, temperature and contact time before use.
