Using this cell

Fill each cell from the top and keep the optical faces clean before measurement. If your method uses a defined excitation and collection direction, keep the orientation consistent between blank and sample and between the two cells.

Check the beam area for bubbles, droplets and residue before use. The 700 µL figure is a nominal capacity rather than a minimum working volume, so low-fill methods should be checked against the actual beam position in your instrument.

First-use check

Inspect both cells for clean optical faces, intact edges and any visible contamination before first use. Test-fit one empty cell in the holder first, then run a blank in the same orientation you plan to use for the sample measurements.

Fit and optical alignment

The listed 12.5 × 4.5 × 45 mm dimensions apply to the uncapped body of each cell. Use those dimensions to check holder seating, side clearance and top access, and leave room above the cuvette for loading and any installed closure.
