C102TR is a compact JGS1 quartz screw-top cuvette for UV/Vis spectroscopy across the stated 200–2500 nm range. Using this cell

Fill the cuvette so the sample covers the beam region used by your instrument, then fit the closure before measurement or transfer as needed. Keep the optical faces clean and keep the same orientation for blank and sample work.

The stated 1.2 mL value is a nominal capacity, not a minimum working volume. If your method depends on a very small fill volume, a defined meniscus position or a fixed beam height, those points should be checked separately.

First-use check

Inspect the optical faces and threaded opening for chips, residue or transit damage.
Test fit the cuvette in your holder and check top clearance with the closure in place.
Rinse with a cleaning liquid suitable for your method, then run a blank before sample measurements.

Fit and optical alignment

This cuvette has a 12.5 × 12.5 mm base and a 20 mm body height, with 30 mm overall height when closed. Those dimensions are useful for checking holder fit, lid clearance and the space available around the top of the cell for manual handling.
