Using this cell

Fill the cuvette so the sample fully covers the illuminated region used in your instrument. Keep the same orientation for blank and sample measurements, remove visible bubbles before reading, and keep the optical faces free of fingerprints, dried residue and exterior droplets.

The screw cap is useful when you want to cover the sample between preparation and measurement. Seat the cap gently and keep the contact surfaces clean. This page does not establish a pressure rating or a leak-tight transport specification.

First-use check

Inspect the optical faces, threaded opening and closure seating surfaces for chips, dust or visible residue.
Rinse with a cleaning liquid suitable for your sample and the full cell assembly.
