Using this cell

Fill each cuvette so the liquid fully covers the optical beam area, then fit the closure before measurement or transfer. For blank and sample work, keep the same orientation each time and handle the cuvette by the non-optical surfaces.

The stated 1.2 mL value is the nominal capacity of each cell. It should not be treated as the minimum working volume, so methods that rely on low fill levels should be checked against your own beam position and fill practice.

First-use check

Inspect both cuvettes for clean optical faces, intact threads and any shipping damage.
Place one cuvette in your holder to confirm fit and top clearance with the closure installed.
Rinse with a suitable liquid for your method, then run a blank before measuring samples.
