Using this cell

Fill the chamber from the top and align the cuvette for the optical direction your method uses. Because this cell has two stated path directions, it is important to keep the insertion orientation consistent between blank, standard and sample measurements.

If your workflow alternates between the 30 mm and 5 mm directions, mark the insertion orientation in your lab routine so the cell is not accidentally rotated. Before measurement, check the beam area for bubbles, droplets and residue on the optical faces.

First-use check

Inspect the optical faces and edges for visible chips, scratches or particles before first use. Rinse with a cleaning liquid suitable for your method, test the empty or blank-filled cell in the holder, and confirm the orientation used for each optical direction.

Fit and optical alignment
