Choose this option
Choose C034TE1 when your fluorescence method uses a 10 mm optical path and a defined 3 mm cross-path region, and you want two cells supplied together in the same order. The Four-Way Light layout supports side optical access, while the 1.05 mL nominal capacity keeps the format compact enough for small-scale measurements and routine bench handling.
What makes this option different
- 10 mm primary path with a 3 mm secondary path in one micro cuvette design.
- Four-Way Light configuration for optical access from four sides.
- 1.05 mL nominal capacity in a compact square-format body.
- Supplied here as a pack of 2 cuvettes with caps.
Using this cell
Fill each cuvette so the active measurement region is fully covered and free of bubbles. For blank and sample work, keep the same orientation each time you place the cell in the holder so the optical geometry remains consistent between runs.
The capped top is suited to routine closed-top handling during preparation and transfer. Fit each cap gently after filling and check that it is seated before moving the cell. The stated 1.05 mL is the nominal capacity, not a minimum working volume, so the practical fill level should be set by your beam position and measurement setup.
First-use check
- Inspect both cuvettes for clean optical faces and undamaged top openings.
- Test-fit one empty cuvette in your holder and confirm cap clearance.
- Run a blank in the same orientation you plan to use for samples.
Fit and optical alignment
The uncapped cell dimensions are 12.5 × 12.5 × 56 mm, with a 12.5 × 12.5 mm base and a 45 mm body height. Overall height with the cap is 60 mm, so top clearance should be checked where the instrument lid, holder frame or clamp sits close to the cuvette.
The stated 3 mm sample-region width is part of the cell geometry and should be matched to your beam footprint and fluorescence accessory arrangement. Z Height is not specified for this item, so setups that depend on a defined beam centre height should be checked before ordering.
Solvents and cleaning
This cuvette uses Molded 83 construction. This fabrication type is commonly selected for methods involving organic solvents and for applications that may involve temperature-controlled work, while final suitability still depends on the complete assembled cell and your actual sample and cleaning conditions.
Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning. Clean the optical faces gently with suitable non-abrasive laboratory wipes or optical tissue, and review aggressive or extended chemical exposure carefully before use.
Included with this option
Pack of 2 quartz micro cuvettes with caps.

Discuss a custom version
We coordinate custom JGS1 quartz production for requirements involving dimensions, optical path length, sample volume, optical windows or Z Height, closures and connections, fabrication and tolerances. Send a dimensioned drawing or labelled sketch together with holder details, beam-height requirements, sample conditions and target quantity. Prototype batches typically involve 2–4 cells; feasibility, final specifications, price and production time are confirmed in the project quotation. Discuss your requirements and quote part number C034TE1.
