Using this cell

Fill the cell through the screw opening, then seat the PTFE closure gently before placing the cuvette in the holder. For routine measurements, keep the same orientation for blank and sample runs and make sure the optical faces stay clean and free of droplets or dried residue.

The stated 3.5 mL is a nominal cell capacity, not a minimum working volume. If your method uses a low fill level or depends on beam height, check that the liquid level will fully cover the beam in your own instrument.

First-use check

Inspect the optical faces under good light for chips, residue or handling marks.
Rinse with a suitable cleaning liquid for your method and check that the cap seats cleanly on the thread.
After filling, confirm that the liquid level covers the intended beam path and that no bubbles remain in the measurement area.
