Using this cell

Fill the cell so the illuminated sample region is fully covered during measurement, and check for bubbles, droplets or settled residue before placing it in the holder. Use the same seating orientation for blank and sample so the optical path stays consistent across runs.

The 1050 µL figure is a nominal capacity, not a minimum working volume. If your method uses less than the nominal fill, check that the actual liquid level still covers the beam position in your instrument.

First-use check

Inspect the cuvette and lid for visible damage or residue, then place the empty cell in your holder to confirm seating and top clearance. Run a blank with your normal measurement orientation before introducing sample, and confirm that your working fill fully covers the illuminated region.

Fit and optical alignment

The uncapped cell body measures 12.5 × 12.5 × 45 mm. Use these body dimensions to check holder seating and surrounding clearance, especially if your setup is tight above the cuvette position, because the overall height with lid is not established here.

Z Height is not listed for this option. If your instrument depends on a fixed beam centre, verify alignment to the sample region before routine use.

Solvents and cleaning

This cuvette uses Standard 80 fabrication with an adhesive-bonded quartz body. It is suited to routine water-based samples and buffers at room temperature. Avoid organic sample solvents and organic cleaning agents with this construction, and check the full wetted assembly, including the PTFE lid, against your sample and cleaning conditions.

Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning methods. Wipe the exterior optical faces gently with non-abrasive optical tissue after rinsing.
