(C102SS39) Quartz Micro Cuvette, 10 mm Path, 1.75 mL
Description
C102SS39 is a JGS1 quartz micro cuvette for UV/Vis work that combines a 10 mm optical path with a 5 mm sample-region slit. Its 1.75 mL nominal capacity gives you a larger listed fill volume than the narrower slit variants in this series, while the included closure supports routine stoppered handling. This version is intended for neutral solutions only.

Choose this option
Choose C102SS39 when your method needs a 10 mm path in a micro cuvette, but with a 5 mm sample-region slit rather than a narrower channel. That geometry gives you a specific illuminated region to match against your beam footprint, and the stoppered top suits direct filling and covered handling in UV/Vis work.
What makes this option different
- 10 mm optical path for standard through-beam UV/Vis methods.
- 5 mm sample-region slit, separate from the path-length specification.
- 1.75 mL nominal capacity in a stoppered micro cuvette format.
- Two-Way Light configuration for straight-through measurement.
- Restricted to neutral solutions.
Using this cell
Fill the cuvette so the illuminated region is fully covered, and inspect the sample region for bubbles before measurement. Use the same orientation for blank and sample runs to keep the optical path and beam position consistent.
The listed 1.75 mL value is the nominal capacity, not a minimum working volume. If your method uses reduced fill levels, check in your own setup that the beam still passes completely through the filled region.
First-use check
- Inspect the optical faces and rim for chips, dust or residue.
- Seat the closure gently and confirm stable placement in the holder.
- Run a blank in your intended orientation and confirm that the beam passes through a fully covered sample region.
Fit and optical alignment
The 5 mm slit width is useful when you are checking beam coverage in a microcell holder. It does not replace a full external dimension drawing or a certified aperture specification.
Z Height and full outer dimensions are not established for this SKU. If your instrument uses a fixed beam-center height or limited holder clearance, confirm that fit before ordering rather than assuming a standard microcell geometry.
Solvents and cleaning
This option is restricted to neutral solutions. Keep hydrofluoric acid away from quartz, avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning, and wipe the optical faces with a non-abrasive optical tissue or other suitable soft lab wipe.
For general construction background, see cuvette fabrication methods.
Included with this option
1 cuvette per listed price unit. Closure included.
Availability and ordering
Order this specification directly, or contact us to check current availability and dispatch timing. If temporarily unavailable, additional preparation or production time may be needed. For a required delivery date, contact us before checkout; preparation or production is separate from carrier transit and customs clearance.
Discuss a custom version
