Original price was: $143.00.$129.00Current price is: $129.00.
C102SR33 is a quartz micro cuvette for UV/Vis spectroscopy with a 10 mm optical path, a 1.75 mL nominal capacity and a supplied stopper. Its Two-Way Light layout and 5 mm sample-region channel suit methods that use a defined narrow measurement zone in this geometry. Sold per 1 cuvette.
Description
C102SR33 is a quartz micro cuvette for UV/Vis work that combines a 10 mm optical path with a 1.75 mL nominal capacity and a stoppered opening. The 5 mm sample-region channel is part of what defines this option: it gives you a narrow measurement zone to match against your beam footprint and filling approach, while the stopper keeps the opening covered during routine handling.

Choose this option
Choose C102SR33 when your method is built around a 10 mm path length but you want a micro cuvette body rather than a full-volume standard cell. This option is useful when the 1.75 mL nominal capacity and 5 mm sample-region channel fit your sample size and beam geometry, and when a stoppered opening is preferable to an open top for filling and handling.
What makes this option different
- 10 mm optical path for UV/Vis methods set up around this path length.
- 1.75 mL nominal capacity in a micro cuvette format, for methods that do not require a larger standard-cell volume.
- Two-Way Light configuration for transmission measurements through the defined optical faces of this cell.
- 5 mm sample-region channel to help you judge whether the illuminated region suits your beam footprint and measurement setup.
- Stopper closure for covered filling and routine handling after the sample is loaded.
- Quartz body for 200–2500 nm use within the stated wavelength range of this option.
Using this cell
Fill the cell so the beam passes fully through the liquid in the optical region, then seat the stopper gently. Keep the optical faces free of bubbles, droplets and fingerprints, and use the same orientation for blank and sample if your method depends on repeatable positioning.
The stated 1.75 mL is a nominal capacity, not a minimum working volume. If you plan to run below a full fill, check that the liquid level still covers the beam path throughout the measurement.
First-use check
- Inspect the optical faces and rim for chips, residue or handling marks.
- Rinse with a liquid suitable for your method.
- Place the filled cell in the holder and confirm that the beam passes through fully covered liquid.
- Check that the stopper seats evenly without forcing it.
Fit and optical alignment
The 5 mm channel width should be considered together with your beam footprint, not treated as a general compatibility claim. If your beam is wider or your holder constrains positioning tightly, that narrow sample region may affect how easily you align the cell in routine use.
Z Height is not listed for this SKU, so do not assume instrument fit from the 10 mm path length alone. If your holder or instrument requires a specific beam-center height or tight external envelope, check those points before ordering.
Solvents and cleaning
This quartz cell is intended for UV/Vis use, but the chemical limits of this exact selected assembly are not established here. Review your sample liquid, concentration, temperature and contact time before routine use or before choosing a cleaning liquid.
Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning. Wipe the exterior optical faces gently with non-abrasive optical tissue. For fabrication background across cuvette types, see Compare fabrication options.
Included with this option
1 cuvette per listed price unit. Stopper included.
Availability and ordering
Order this specification directly, or contact us to check current availability and dispatch timing. If temporarily unavailable, additional preparation or production time may be needed. For a required delivery date, contact us before checkout; preparation or production is separate from carrier transit and customs clearance.
Discuss a custom version
We coordinate custom JGS1 quartz production for requirements involving dimensions, optical path length, sample volume, optical windows or Z Height, closures and connections, fabrication and tolerances. Send a dimensioned drawing or labelled sketch together with your holder details, critical dimensions, wavelength range and sample conditions. Discuss your requirements and quote part number C102SR33.
