Using this cell

Fill the cell so that the illuminated sample region is fully covered during measurement, and use the same orientation for blank and sample runs. Keep the optical faces clean and free from fingerprints, droplets and bubbles, since residue in the light path can affect the reading.

The closure is useful for covered handling during preparation and measurement, but it does not establish a pressure rating or leak-tight transport rating here. The 350 µL value is a nominal capacity, not a minimum working volume.

First-use check

Inspect the optical faces under good light for dust, residue or scratches from handling.
Rinse with a solvent or solution suitable for your method and the complete cell assembly.
Run a blank using your reference medium before measuring the sample.
Confirm that the filled sample covers the beam in your instrument.

Fit and optical alignment

This is a micro cuvette, so holder clearance and beam position matter. Check that your instrument or cuvette holder accepts the body style of your cell format and that the beam passes through the intended sample region when the cell is seated.

Solvents and cleaning
