Using this cell

Fill through the threaded neck and fit the PTFE screw cap before measurement when your method uses the cell in a covered condition. Keep the optical faces free from fingerprints, bubbles and dried residue, and use the same orientation for blank and sample work when positioning matters.

The 350 µL value is a nominal capacity, not a minimum working volume. In practice, the sample still needs to cover the beam path used by your instrument, so very low fill levels should be checked against your beam position.

First-use check

Inspect the optical faces for chips, scratches or residue.
Test fit the empty cell in your holder and check clearance with the cap on if you measure it covered.
Rinse with a suitable solvent for your method, fill with your blank, and confirm that the sample level covers the beam area.

Fit and optical alignment

The body is 12.5 × 3.5 × 38 mm. The overall height is 54 mm uncapped and 58 mm with the cap fitted, which helps you check both holder fit around the body and vertical clearance above the neck.

Two-Way Light means transmission through opposing optical faces. It does not by itself establish instrument compatibility, and Z Height is not established for this SKU. If your holder has a fixed beam-center height or limited top clearance, check those points before ordering.

Solvents and cleaning

This cuvette is classified under Molded 83. That fabrication is commonly chosen for quartz cuvette applications that may involve organic-solvent methods, but the exact chemical limits of this complete cell assembly are not established here. When your solvent, concentration, temperature or contact time is demanding, check compatibility for the full wetted assembly, including the PTFE cap, before use.

Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning. Clean the optical faces gently with non-abrasive optical tissue or another suitable soft wipe.
