Choose this option
Choose C102SR25 when your method uses a 10 mm transmission path and you want a covered sample cell rather than an open cuvette. The 3.5 mL nominal capacity suits ordinary liquid samples in a familiar square body, and the PTFE stopper gives straightforward top access for filling followed by covered handling during routine measurement steps.
What makes this option different
- 10 mm optical path for methods written around a 1 cm transmission length.
- 3.5 mL nominal capacity for routine liquid samples in a full-size cell format.
- PTFE stopper included for top access followed by covered sample handling.
- Two-Way Light geometry for transmission through two opposite optical faces.
- 12.5 × 12.5 × 45 mm uncapped body for checking holder seating and body clearance.
- Single-cuvette sale unit when you need one cell rather than a multi-pack.
Using this cell
Fill the cell from the top so the liquid level covers the beam region used by your instrument, then seat the PTFE stopper gently before measurement. Remove visible bubbles and keep the same orientation for blank and sample readings to maintain a consistent optical setup.
Handle the cuvette by the non-optical sides where possible and keep the outside optical faces free from fingerprints and droplets. The stopper covers the opening after filling, but its operating-pressure limit needs to be confirmed before use in a pressurized circuit.
First-use check
- Inspect the optical faces and the PTFE stopper for chips, residue or particles.
- Test the uncapped body in your holder without forcing the fit.
- Rinse with a cleaning liquid suitable for your method.
- Fill with a suitable blank and confirm that the liquid covers the beam path.
Fit and optical alignment
The uncapped body is 12.5 × 12.5 × 45 mm. That size helps you check whether the cell will seat properly in a square-cuvette holder and whether there is enough vertical room above the body for stoppered use.
This is a Two-Way Light cuvette intended for a beam passing through two opposite faces. Z Height is not stated for this option, so if your holder or instrument depends on a specific beam-center height, check that separately instead of assuming it from the body dimensions.
Solvents and cleaning
Quartz is used for the cell body and PTFE for the stopper. For an application involving aggressive solvents, long contact times, elevated temperature or a demanding cleaning routine, confirm the chemical limits for both parts before routine use.
Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning methods. For fabrication background, see MQ Cuvette Fabrication Glossary.
Included with this option
1 cuvette per listed price unit. Closure included.
