Using this cell

Fill from the top and make sure the liquid covers the beam region used by your instrument. Before measurement, clear visible bubbles from the optical path and keep the same cell orientation for blanks and samples if your procedure depends on a fixed beam direction.

This is an open-top cell body. Use it where an exposed opening is acceptable for your sample handling routine, and review that point before ordering if your process depends on a supplied closure or controlled coverage above the chamber.

First-use check

Inspect the optical faces and top rim for chips, residue or handling marks.
Rinse with a suitable liquid for your method.
Place the cell in the intended holder and verify beam position through the two transmission faces.
Run a blank after confirming that the filled sample region covers the beam path.

Fit and optical alignment

The body measures 64 × 64 × 62 mm, and these dimensions apply to the cell body itself. Check holder width, seating area and surrounding clearance before purchase, especially if your instrument was designed around a smaller cuvette format.
