USD$237.00 USD$214.00
Quartz 60 mm high-capacity cuvette, 216 ml, Sintered 83 (>83% transmittance). Two-Way Light. Open top (no cover). 190–2500 nm. SKU: C602CR. In Stock.
Description
Manufactured using Sintered 83 technology — sintered from high-purity quartz with >83% transmittance, ensuring minimal background absorption across the full UV-Vis-NIR range — the C602CR delivers reliable UV-Vis performance in a 60 mm path length format with 216 ml volume. Optical configuration: two opposite faces polished to optical grade for standard transmission measurements. Ships without a cover (open top), allowing easy sample addition and removal with minimal contamination risk.

Applications
Why Two-Way Light?
Two-way light cuvettes have two opposite vertical faces polished to optical grade, forming the standard transmission geometry for UV-Vis absorbance measurements. This is the most common and cost-effective configuration for routine spectrophotometry.
Why Sintered 83?
Sintered 83 cuvettes are fabricated by sintering high-purity quartz at extreme temperatures, achieving >83% transmittance with exceptional optical clarity. The sintering process creates a robust, chemically resistant structure that withstands repeated exposure to aggressive solvents, concentrated acids, and bases (avoid HF).
Rinse with a compatible solvent (e.g., ethanol or the measurement solvent) before first use to remove residual particles. Do not use abrasive materials on polished optical faces — wipe gently with lens tissue. Withstands all common laboratory solvents, concentrated acids, and bases. Avoid HF (hydrofluoric acid). Store in the original protective case to prevent scratches on the optical windows.
