Using this cell

Fill the cell from the top and make sure the sample cleanly covers the illuminated region before measurement. The open access makes it easier to rinse, load and inspect the sample, but the nominal 1.75 mL capacity is not a minimum working volume, so your actual fill level still needs to suit your beam position and method.

Use the same orientation for blank and sample measurements, and check that the light path is free from bubbles or dry areas. If you use a lid during handling or measurement, treat it as a cover rather than a pressure or leak-tight closure.

First-use check

Inspect the optical faces and interior on arrival and before first use. After rinsing, place the filled cell in your holder and confirm stable seating, full beam coverage and a clear, bubble-free transmission path.
