C104CS96 is a JGS1 quartz ultra-micro cuvette for fluorescence spectroscopy when you want a 10 mm optical path with a modest sample charge and optical access from multiple sides. This version pairs a 200 µL nominal capacity with Four-Way Light geometry and an open-top body, making it suitable for direct filling and routine small-volume handling at the bench.

The larger nominal volume in this ultra-micro series gives you more fill range than the lower-capacity versions while keeping the same basic path length and open-top handling style. Using this cell

Load the sample from the top and fill carefully so the illuminated sample region is covered during measurement. The open body makes it easy to inspect the liquid level before insertion, but it should be handled as an open laboratory cell rather than a sealed vessel.

Use the same seating direction for blank and sample runs, and avoid bubbles, droplets or residue on the optical faces. The 200 µL value is the nominal cell capacity for this option; it does not define a minimum working volume.

First-use check

Inspect the optical faces for dust, fingerprints or shipping residue.
Test the empty fit in the holder before filling.
Run a suitable blank and confirm that the beam passes through a fully covered sample region.
Keep the insertion orientation consistent between blank and sample.

Fit and optical alignment

Check the holder opening, available clearance and instrument beam position before ordering. Four-Way Light describes the supported optical access category, but holder fit and beam placement still need to match the usable sample region in your own setup.

If your instrument has a fixed beam height or a tight micro-cell holder, please verify the geometry against your fixture rather than assuming fit from path length or nominal volume. A released Z Height specification is not provided here for customer use.

Solvents and cleaning

This cuvette is made from quartz, but the exact chemical limits for this selected assembly are not established here. If your method uses aggressive chemicals, long contact times or heated cleaning, please check the exact sample and cleaning conditions before use.
