C104TS19 is a JGS1 quartz screw-top cuvette designed around a 10 mm optical path with optical access on four sides of the sample region. This version combines a 4.5 mL nominal capacity with a single long-neck opening and an included injectable screw cap, giving you top access while keeping the base in a compact 12.5 × 12.5 mm square format.
The long-neck geometry is the main reason to choose this model. It places the sample entry above the optical body, which can make filling or introducing liquid from above more convenient when you want to keep hands and tools away from the optical faces during handling.

Using this cell
Fill or introduce the sample through the top opening and make sure the liquid covers the beam area used by your instrument. For repeatable measurements, keep the same cell orientation for blank and sample, and keep bubbles, droplets and residue away from the optical faces.
The included closure covers the opening during handling and measurement steps. It should not be treated as a pressure-rated or leak-tested seal for pressurised, transport or closed-circuit use.
First-use check
- Inspect the optical faces, neck and cap for chips, particles or residue.
- Place the cell in your holder and confirm that the long neck clears the compartment above.
- Rinse with a suitable liquid for your method and run a blank before analytical use.
Fit and optical alignment
The base measures 12.5 × 12.5 mm and the optical body height is 45 mm. The overall height with cap is 114 mm, so the narrow base does not mean the cell is short; the long neck and cap need substantial clearance above the holder.
Z Height is not listed for this item, and a full external size envelope is not established here beyond the confirmed base and capped height. If your instrument has a fixed beam position or limited compartment height, check both beam alignment and headroom before ordering.
Solvents and cleaning
This cuvette uses Molded 83 fabrication. Choose your sample and cleaning routine for the complete assembled item, including the closure, especially if your method involves aggressive chemicals, elevated temperature or extended contact time.
Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning materials, and wipe the optical faces gently with non-abrasive optical tissue.
