Structure and dimensions

Using this cell

Fill the cell from the top and keep the same orientation in the holder for blank and sample measurements. In fluorescence work, stable positioning matters because rotating the cell can change the optical geometry used by the instrument.

Use enough sample to cover the illuminated region and remove bubbles before measurement. The 1750 µL figure is a nominal cell capacity, not a minimum working volume.

First-use check

Inspect the optical faces and sample chamber before first use.
Place the cell in the holder with a blank and confirm stable seating and repeatable positioning.
After filling, remove bubbles and exterior droplets before collecting data.

Check the holder clearance and beam position before ordering if your instrument has a fixed holder or beam-height requirement. A Four-Way Light cell gives multi-side optical access, but Z Height is not established for this SKU, so a specific instrument match should not be assumed from path length alone.

Solvents and cleaning

Choose the sample and cleaning routine for the complete cell assembly. If your method uses organic solvents, aggressive chemicals, elevated temperature or long contact time, review suitability for the full assembly before use.

Keep hydrofluoric acid away from quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaners, and clean the optical faces gently with non-abrasive optical tissue.
