Description
MQQMC033 is a slim JGS1 quartz demountable cuvette built around an 8 mm circular sample recess. It combines a 1 mm optical path with 50 µL nominal capacity and a removable cover plate, which is useful when the sample needs to be placed directly into the measurement area for fluorescence work or for solid, powder and small-volume sample presentation.
The body plate is 45 × 12.5 × 2 mm, and the separate cover plate is 45 × 12.5 × 1 mm. This plate-style format is straightforward to load and inspect, but it should be used in a fixture that supports both parts in position during measurement.

Using this cell
Load the sample into the circular recess, then place the cover plate in a consistent way before measurement. For powders and solids, use a repeatable preparation method so that sample presentation stays as consistent as possible from blank to sample and from run to run.
For liquid use, make sure the illuminated region is covered and free of bubbles or particles before measurement. The removable cover plate provides access to the sample area, but it is not a screw closure and does not create a pressure-rated assembly.

- Test the dry fit in your holder before loading a sample.
- Run a blank with the same orientation and cover placement planned for the measurement.

Solvents and cleaning

Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis, abrasive cleaners and cleaning routines that are unsuitable for bonded assemblies. Clean the optical faces and mating surfaces gently with non-abrasive optical tissue or wipes.
