What makes this option different

0.5 mm optical path: match the measurement method to this transmission distance and align the beam through the sample region.
Two-Way Light: align the opposing optical faces with the transmission beam and use the same orientation for blank and sample readings.
175 µL nominal capacity: plan the working fill and beam footprint together so liquid covers the illuminated region; nominal capacity is not a minimum working fill.
Closure not included: plan the sample-loading procedure around the supplied cell configuration and specify any required cover separately.

Using this cell

Fill the cell from the open top and make sure the liquid covers the optical region used by your instrument. The nominal capacity describes the cell volume, not a minimum working fill, so the actual fill needed depends on your beam position and measurement setup.

Because no closure is supplied, this option suits bench handling where the sample can be loaded and measured directly in an open chamber. Remove visible bubbles before reading and hold the cuvette by non-optical surfaces to keep the transmission faces clean.

First-use check

Inspect the cuvette for chips, dust or shipping damage.
Place the empty cell in your holder to confirm body fit before preparing samples.
Run a blank with the same orientation you plan to use for samples.

Fit and optical alignment

The stated 3 × 12.5 × 45 mm dimensions apply to the cell body only. Use those dimensions to check holder slot width, seating depth and top clearance before ordering.

Z Height is not established for this exact option, so beam-height fit should not be assumed from path length alone. The two-way light geometry supports standard opposing-face transmission, but it does not by itself establish compatibility with a specific instrument holder.

Solvents and cleaning

This quartz cuvette is described for contact with acids, alkalis and organic liquids, but the operating conditions are not defined. If your method involves demanding chemical exposure, prolonged contact or a specific cleaning solvent, check those exact conditions before routine use.
