What makes this option different

0.5 mm optical path: match the measurement method to this transmission distance and align the beam through the sample region.
Two-Way Light: align the opposing optical faces with the transmission beam and use the same orientation for blank and sample readings.
175 µL nominal capacity: plan the working fill and beam footprint together so liquid covers the illuminated region; nominal capacity is not a minimum working fill.

Using this cell

Load the sample from the open top and fill so the beam passes through a fully covered liquid region. The 175 µL figure is the nominal capacity of the cell, not a minimum working volume, so your method may require a different practical fill level depending on beam position and handling.

Because no closure is supplied, this version is best suited to direct filling and measurement in an open chamber rather than a sealed handling routine. Keep the optical faces clean by holding the cell on non-optical outer surfaces and removing bubbles before measurement.

First-use check

Inspect the cuvette and its optical faces for chips, residue or transit damage.
Test the empty cell in your holder before preparing samples.
Run a blank in the same orientation you plan to use for measurements.

Fit and optical alignment

The stated 3 × 12.5 × 45 mm dimensions apply to the cell body only. Use them to check holder width, seating depth and vertical clearance in your instrument or adapter.

Z Height is not established for this exact SKU, so do not assume beam-height compatibility from the path length alone. Two-Way Light describes the opposing transmission direction through the cell and should not be treated as proof of fit with a specific instrument.

Solvents and cleaning

This option is described for use with neutral solutions. If your sample, rinse or cleaning routine involves acidic, alkaline or organic media, review the suitability of the full wetted assembly before use rather than assuming broader compatibility.
