C014TE is a JGS1 quartz micro cuvette for fluorescence spectroscopy, combining a 10 mm main path with a 1 mm secondary path in a Four-Way Light format. The 350 µL nominal capacity keeps the sample volume modest, while the square body remains familiar for holder seating. A cap is included, and this listing is supplied as 1 cuvette.

This model is also useful when top clearance matters as much as footprint. The rectangular body is 12.5 × 12.5 × 45 mm, the full uncapped height is 56 mm, and the overall height with cap is 60 mm, so you can check holder seating and upper clearance separately.

Using this cell

Fill the cell so the illuminated region stays fully covered during measurement, and keep bubbles away from the optical faces. Use the same orientation for blank and sample runs, especially when the 1 mm optical direction matters to the method.

The included cap can be fitted after filling, but this listing does not establish pressure capability or a closed-circuit use rating. The 350 µL value is the nominal capacity, not a minimum working volume.

First-use check

Inspect the optical faces, neck area and cap seating area for chips, residue or transport marks before use. Rinse with a suitable liquid for your method, seat the cell in the holder, and run a blank to confirm that the intended filled region is correctly illuminated.

Fit and optical alignment

The base is 12.5 × 12.5 mm for holder seating. For vertical space, distinguish between the 45 mm rectangular body, the 56 mm uncapped overall height and the 60 mm overall height with the cap in place.

Z Height is not established for this SKU. If your instrument has a fixed beam position, check the beam height against your own holder instead of assuming alignment from the external shape alone.

Solvents and cleaning

This cuvette uses Molded 83 quartz construction. Molded 83 is commonly chosen when organic-solvent methods or temperature-controlled work are part of the selection, but your actual sample and cleaning liquids still need to suit the complete assembly.

Do not use hydrofluoric acid with quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning. If your process involves aggressive chemicals or long exposure times, check suitability before use rather than relying on the quartz body alone.
