Using this cell
Fill the cuvette so the illuminated region is fully covered during measurement. Use the same orientation for blank and sample, and check that no bubbles, droplets or settled residue remain in the optical path before placing the cell in the holder.
Seat the closure gently after filling. It is intended for ordinary covered handling during preparation and measurement, but it should not be treated as a pressure-rated or leak-tested seal for inversion, transport or closed-circuit use.
First-use check
- Inspect the optical faces for chips, residue or handling marks.
- Rinse with a suitable liquid for your method and dry the outer optical faces carefully.
- Run a blank in the same orientation you will use for samples.
- Confirm that the filled sample fully covers the beam path without bubbles.
Fit and optical alignment
Before ordering, check not only holder entry size but also beam position and footprint in your instrument. The 4 mm slit is a sample-region dimension, so a compatible result depends on how your beam crosses that region in the actual holder.
Z Height is not established here, so instrument matching should not be assumed from the 10 mm path alone. If your setup requires a specific beam-center height or limited holder clearance, please send your holder model or drawing before ordering.
Solvents and cleaning
Choose sample and cleaning liquids with the complete assembled cuvette in mind. The chemical limits of this exact cell and closure combination are not fully established here, so aggressive solvents, unusual cleaning liquids, elevated temperature and long contact times should be reviewed before routine use.
