Using this cell

Fill the cell so the liquid covers the beam path, then remove visible bubbles from the optical region before measurement. Keep the same orientation for blank and sample if your method depends on consistent placement.

Handle the cuvette by the non-optical surfaces and seat the PTFE stopper gently after filling. The stopper covers the opening during normal use, but this page does not define pressure-rated, leak-tight or transport-sealed performance.

First-use check

Before the first run, inspect the optical faces and stopper contact area for dust, fingerprints or residue. Rinse with a suitable liquid for your method, then run a blank and confirm that the beam passes cleanly through the filled sample region.

Fit and optical alignment
