Using this cell

Fill the cell so the illuminated sample region is covered during measurement, then keep the same orientation for blank and sample runs. With a narrow sample region, introduce the liquid carefully and check for bubbles or residue on the optical faces before reading.

The stated 350 µL is the nominal capacity of the cell. It should not be treated as the minimum working fill for every instrument setup.

First-use check

Inspect the cell and closure for shipping damage, dust or residue.
Place the empty cell in the holder and check that it seats cleanly.
Run a blank first to confirm stable positioning and full beam coverage through the sample region.

Fit and optical alignment
