(C104SR13) Quartz Micro Cuvette, 10 mm Path, 1.4 mL
Original price was: $293.00.$264.00Current price is: $264.00.
C104SR13 is a JGS1 quartz micro cuvette for fluorescence spectroscopy with a 10 mm optical path, Four-Way Light access and a 1.4 mL nominal capacity. Its 4 mm sample-region width gives a broader measurement zone than narrower variants while keeping the same compact 12.5 × 12.5 mm footprint. Sold as 1 cuvette, with a closure included.

Choose this option
Choose C104SR13 when your method calls for a 10 mm path length and you want a broader sample region than the narrower-channel versions in the same body style. The 4 mm measurement section helps when you are planning beam placement in a compact holder, while the Four-Way Light layout supports fluorescence measurements that use optical access from multiple faces.
What makes this option different
- 10 mm optical path for standard cuvette-based fluorescence methods.
- Four-Way Light geometry for multi-side optical access.
- 4 mm sample-region width for a broader defined illuminated section.
- 1.4 mL nominal capacity in a 12.5 × 12.5 mm footprint, with a closure included.
Using this cell
Fill the cell so the illuminated region is fully covered by liquid, and keep the optical faces free from bubbles, droplets and residue. If you run blanks and samples in sequence, use the same cuvette orientation and holder seating each time for consistent alignment.
The 1.4 mL value is the nominal capacity, not a minimum working volume. If your procedure uses less than a full fill, establish the working level in your own instrument so the beam passes cleanly through the liquid column.
First-use check
- Inspect the optical faces, edges and sample region for chips, dust or residue.
- Rinse with a suitable liquid for your method, then dry the exterior optical faces carefully.
- Test fit the cuvette in the holder and check that the beam passes through the intended region.
- Run a blank at your measurement wavelength before loading valuable samples.
Fit and optical alignment
The stated external dimensions are 12.5 × 12.5 × 45 mm, with a 12.5 × 12.5 mm base. These dimensions are useful for checking holder fit, chamber clearance and top space for the closure before ordering.
The 4 mm value refers to the sample-region width rather than an instrument slit setting. Z Height is not specified for this option, so if your fluorimeter or holder requires a known beam-center height, please confirm that point before purchase.
Solvents and cleaning
Quartz is used here for work across the stated 200–2500 nm range. Clean the optical faces gently with non-abrasive optical tissue or laboratory wipes, and avoid abrasive cleaning methods.
The chemical limits for this exact assembly are not established here. If your sample or cleaning routine involves aggressive chemicals, long contact times or elevated temperatures, please check suitability before use. Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz, and avoid hot strong alkalis. For general fabrication background, see MQ Cuvette Fabrication Glossary.
Included with this option
One C104SR13 micro cuvette. A closure is included.
