C102CS22 is a JGS3 quartz micro cuvette with a 10 mm optical path, Two-Way Light layout and 350 µL nominal capacity for infrared spectroscopy and visible absorbance work. This version uses a 1 mm sample-region slit format and includes a PTFE lid. Supplied as 1 cuvette.
Description
C102CS22 is a JGS3 quartz micro cuvette for infrared spectroscopy and visible absorbance work where you need a standard 10 mm path in a compact body. It combines a Two-Way Light layout, a 350 µL nominal capacity and a PTFE lid, while the 1 mm sample-region slit format helps you judge whether your beam footprint and holder geometry suit this cell. The listed MQ sale unit is one cuvette.

Choose this option
Choose C102CS22 when your method needs a 10 mm path micro cuvette with a modest nominal volume and covered top access. It is particularly useful when your setup can work with a narrow 1 mm sample-region format and when you need one cell rather than a supplier pack configuration.
What makes this option different
- 10 mm optical path: keeps the familiar 1 cm path in a compact micro cuvette body.
- JGS3 quartz body: suited to the stated infrared and visible absorbance use range for this model.
- 1 mm sample-region slit format: makes beam footprint and alignment more important than with a wider sample region.
- 350 µL nominal capacity: supports small-volume work without changing to a shorter optical path.
- PTFE lid included: provides covered handling at the top of the cell.
Using this cell
Fill the cell so the liquid fully covers the illuminated sample region, then check for bubbles before measurement. Keep the same orientation for blank and sample runs, and handle the cuvette by the non-optical surfaces where possible.
The PTFE lid is included for covered use, but this page does not define a sealed, pressure-rated or leak-tested assembly. The 350 µL value is the nominal capacity, not a minimum working volume, so establish your working fill in your own method.
First-use check
- Inspect the windows, top opening and interior for dust, residue or handling marks.
- Place the cell in the intended holder and confirm that it seats cleanly without forcing the body.
- Run a blank at your working wavelength and fill level, then confirm that the sample covers the beam cleanly and the lid sits as expected for your handling routine.
Fit and optical alignment
The uncapped cell body measures 12.5 × 12.5 × 45 mm. Use these body dimensions to check holder seating, opening size and surrounding clearance, especially if your instrument has limited space above the cell position.
Z Height is not stated for this item, so instrument compatibility should not be assumed from outer size alone. The 1 mm sample-region format also means beam position and footprint should be checked carefully before ordering.
Solvents and cleaning
Standard 80 is an adhesive-bonded quartz construction that is commonly selected for routine room-temperature water-based samples and buffers. Avoid organic sample solvents and organic cleaning agents unless you have checked the full sample and cleaning conditions for all wetted parts, including the PTFE lid. If your method depends on organic solvents, ask about a more suitable Sintered or Molded construction.
Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning, and wipe the optical faces gently with non-abrasive optical tissue.
Included with this option
Supplied as 1 micro cuvette with a PTFE lid and storage box.
