Using this cell

Fill the cell so the illuminated sample region is fully covered during measurement, and check for bubbles or droplets before placing it in the holder. Keep the same orientation for blank and sample so the beam passes through the same faces each time.

The 350 µL figure is a nominal capacity, not a minimum working volume. If your method uses a partial fill, verify that the liquid level still covers the actual beam position in your instrument.

First-use check

Inspect both cuvettes for clean optical faces, chips and handling residue, then test-fit one cell in the holder with a blank or solvent. Confirm that the lid seats properly, the cell sits correctly in the holder and your normal fill level covers the illuminated region.

Fit and optical alignment

The uncapped cell body measures 12.5 × 12.5 × 45 mm. Use those body dimensions to check holder seating and side clearance, but leave extra space above the cell for the lid because the capped height is not established here.

Z Height is not listed for this option. If your holder or instrument uses a fixed beam position, check beam height and beam footprint against the sample region before routine use.

Solvents and cleaning

This cuvette uses Standard 80 fabrication with an adhesive-bonded quartz body. It is a practical choice for routine water-based samples and buffers at room temperature. Avoid organic sample solvents and organic cleaning agents with this construction, and review the full wetted assembly, including the PTFE lid, against your method conditions.

Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning. Rinse promptly after use and wipe the exterior optical faces gently with non-abrasive optical tissue.
