C102CS20 is a JGS1 quartz micro cuvette for UV/Vis spectroscopy with a 10 mm optical path, 700 µL nominal capacity and a 2 mm sample region. It includes a PTFE lid and is sold as 1 cuvette. This adhesive-bonded version is intended for neutral solutions only.
Description
C102CS20 is a JGS1 quartz micro cuvette for UV/Vis work when you need a 10 mm path length in a smaller 700 µL format. This single-cuvette option combines a Two-Way Light layout, a 2 mm sample region and a compact 12.5 × 12.5 × 45 mm uncapped body, and its adhesive-bonded construction is specifically restricted to neutral solutions.

Choose this option
Choose C102CS20 when your method uses a standard 10 mm transmission path but sample volume is closer to the 700 µL nominal range than to a larger square cuvette. The included PTFE lid gives covered handling, while the restricted neutral-solution use makes this version suitable only where your sample and cleaning routine stay within those limits.
What makes this option different
- 10 mm optical path in a compact Micro Cuvette body for UV/Vis transmission work.
- 700 µL nominal capacity with a 2 mm sample region.
- Adhesive-bonded quartz construction restricted to neutral solutions.
- Sold as 1 cuvette with a PTFE lid included.
Using this cell
Fill the cell so the illuminated region is fully covered during measurement, and keep the same orientation for blank and sample runs. Avoid bubbles in the optical path and wipe the exterior optical faces before placing the cuvette in the instrument.
The 700 µL value is the nominal capacity, not a minimum working volume. If you plan to work below full fill, check beam coverage in your own setup before routine use.
First-use check
Inspect the optical faces and interior before first use, then test the cuvette in the intended holder. A blank run with the planned fill level will help confirm seating, beam passage and whether your liquid level fully covers the illuminated region.
Fit and optical alignment
The stated 12.5 × 12.5 × 45 mm dimensions apply to the uncapped cell body. Use them to check holder fit and top clearance, but do not treat them as the full installed envelope with the lid in place.
Z Height is not specified for this option. If your holder or method depends on a fixed beam-center height, that alignment should be checked on the instrument side. The 2 mm sample region is also relevant when beam position is tight.
Solvents and cleaning
This cuvette uses Standard 80 adhesive-bonded construction. For this version, the supplier restriction is neutral solutions only.
Do not soak or rinse this cell with ethanol, and do not use acids, alkalis or organic solvents with this construction. As with any quartz cell, do not use hydrofluoric acid. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning, and use a gentle non-abrasive routine suitable for neutral aqueous work.
Included with this option
Supplied as 1 micro cuvette with a PTFE lid included.
