Using this cell

Fill each cell so the illuminated region is fully covered during measurement, and keep blank and sample cuvettes oriented the same way in the holder. Keep bubbles away from the optical path and wipe the exterior optical faces carefully before measurement.

The stated 700 µL is the nominal capacity of each cuvette, not a minimum working volume. If your method uses reduced fills, check liquid coverage in your own instrument before routine use.

First-use check

Inspect both cuvettes before first use, then test one in the intended holder before preparing samples. A blank run at your working wavelength will help confirm holder seating and a clear beam path through the filled sample region.

Fit and optical alignment

The stated 12.5 × 12.5 × 45 mm dimensions apply to the uncapped body of each cuvette. Use these dimensions to review holder opening, seating depth and top clearance, but allow separately for space needed when the lid is fitted.

Z Height is not specified for this option, so beam-center compatibility should be checked on the instrument side where alignment is critical. The 2 mm sample region is also part of the geometry to review when your beam footprint is narrow or tightly positioned.

Solvents and cleaning

This cuvette uses Standard 80 adhesive-bonded construction. For this version, the supplier restriction is neutral solutions only.

Do not soak or rinse the cell with ethanol, and do not use acids, alkalis or organic solvents with this construction. As with any quartz cell, do not use hydrofluoric acid. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning, and use a gentle non-abrasive cleaning routine suitable for neutral aqueous work.
