C102CS33 is a quartz micro cuvette for UV/Vis work when you need a 10 mm path in a compact 350 µL format. The JGS1 quartz body, Two-Way Light layout and narrow 1 mm sample region make it useful for methods where beam placement and sample coverage matter. This option is sold as a pack of 2 cuvettes, with PTFE lids included.

This cuvette uses adhesive-bonded Standard 80 construction. It is intended for neutral solutions only, so solvent choice and cleaning routine are an important part of selection.

Using this cell

Fill each cell so the illuminated region is fully covered during measurement, and avoid bubbles or droplets on the optical faces. The 350 µL value is a nominal capacity, not a minimum working volume, so the actual fill level should be set by your method and beam coverage.

The PTFE lid helps with routine bench handling after filling, but it should not be treated as a pressure-rated or transport seal. If you use both cuvettes in the same workflow, keep their orientation and seating consistent between blank, sample and repeat measurements.

First-use check

Inspect both cells for dust, residue or marks on the optical faces.
Test fit each empty cuvette in your holder and confirm top clearance for the lid.
Run a blank at your working wavelength and check that the filled sample covers the beam without bubbles.

Fit and optical alignment

The listed 12.5 × 12.5 × 45 mm dimensions apply to the uncapped cell body. Use that body size to check holder clearance, then allow additional space above the cell for the lid arrangement in your setup.

Z Height is not established for this item, so body height alone should not be used as proof of instrument fit. If your holder has a fixed beam position, verify that the beam passes through the intended 1 mm sample region without clipping.

Solvents and cleaning

This adhesive-bonded Standard 80 cuvette is intended for neutral solutions only. Do not soak or rinse it with ethanol, and do not use acids, alkalis or organic solvents with this construction.

For cleaning, use methods suited to water-based residue and wipe the optical faces gently with non-abrasive optical tissue. Avoid abrasive cleaning on both the cell body and the PTFE lid.
